Fare Thee Well

The air is electric the last cruise day as vacationing cruisers push for their last bit of fun packing in as many activities as the cruise director can devise.

We did our share albeit rather smugly knowing we are only half way through this grand adventure.

Lunch with our buddy Mary Ann was interesting as always and we were happy she accepted our invitation.

A New Yorker through and through with a fierce love and loyalty for her city.

We found her extremely enjoyable with her no nonsense approach to life and candid honest views.

Her honorable contribution of a life time of working with and on the behalf of youth in the education system and commitment to bettering their lives through volunteer work and counseling families, we admire.

Our last evening started with a sushi feast and rounds of Saki followed by some spins on the slot machine resulting in a profitable win which in turn led to a martini treat soaking up the atmosphere of the splendid jazz band.

It’s up at 5:30 tomorrow morning to the Barcelona port to catch our flight to Civitavecchia for our Princess cruise in 4 days.
