Carnival Cruise Review

12 nights and 6 ports comprised of England, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Estonia and Belgium.

Since we are continuing back to back with this ship we have preferred to stay on board while in port with the exception of a Wi-Fi break at the port shop in Estonia where there were an astonishingly large portion of extremely blonde and blue eyed people.

We did not spend much time in port but noted there is a hop on / hop off bus which we plan to take the next time we visit.

Many of the larger cities have such transportation and quite naturally the cruise ship offers upwards of 10 excursions daily ranging in price from under $100 upwards of $500 per person.

As mentioned previously the Carnival Legend may have seen better days however the ship seems to be a shell of her former self as attested to by our table-mates Jimmy & Diane who are loyal Carnival customers and they have mentioned the standards of the Legend could use some improving.

Compared to the other lines we have sailed with this ship rates very low, however another couple we met James & Sharon like Carnival for its inexpensive fares and mainly chose this particular ship because of the itinerary which also appealed to us.

We are looking forward to the next 12 days of doing shore excursions and are very happy that Amsterdam has been added to the list on the next leg.
